Candidate for Re-Election as Mt. Juliet, District 3 City Commissioner
With over 35 years of experience in the Fintech, Banking, and Healthcare sectors, Scott has established himself as a thought leader and innovator. His career has been marked by his ownership of multiple businesses and his consulting expertise, particularly in the realm of financial technology and outsourcing solutions designed to enhance mission-critical business processes for leading companies. His contributions to the industry have been recognized through his appointments to the Senior Advisory Board for Finexio, a payments facilitator originating from Silicon Valley, as well as his involvement with a Washington D.C.-based non-profit alliance dedicated to advancing technology and innovation in U.S. healthcare.
Scott’s commitment to his community and his faith is evident in his active role in shaping the future of Mt. Juliet. Over the past four years, he has served as the City Commissioner for District 3 and as a Regional Planning Commissioner. His dedication to public service also includes his volunteer work with the US Community Credit Union, where he served on the Volunteer Board.
Prior to his relocation to Mt. Juliet, Scott was deeply engaged with the Christian non-profit organization Children of the Nations, participating in a humanitarian mission to the Dominican Republic. A passionate runner, Scott has completed over 15 full and half marathons in the past decade. In his leisure time, he enjoys working on his farm in Watertown, TN, where he cultivates a small vineyard featuring several grape varietals.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Troy University in Troy, Alabama. His extensive professional background also includes holding Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses during his tenure with financial services giant Morgan Stanley.
